A song/loop about just living because you are alive, and going day to day like a zombie, but wanting to break free, wanting to go crazy when it isn't appropriate to do so.

Awesome! (but could use some work)

I'm quite enjoying this song. I love how the melodies weave together, and it really does capture the theme and emotion. ;-) There are few things that could make it truly shine, though...

1) Add more stuff to the bassline. Heck, anything will do; submelodies, arpeggiations, even just playing an octave would help this song out a lot.
2) Give it a bit more "push" and "pull" and voicing to really wring out every bit of emotion in this song. Then again, this is a lot easier to do on a piano than it is inside a sequencer, so...

But those are just minor issues that can be easily fixed. Even if you totally disregard my suggestions it's still an awesome piece.

steelside responds:

Yeah, I'm working on that now. Thanks for this, you worded it well, "push and pull". Whenever I'm done, if you wanna listen to it before I upload I can send it to you, pm me.

You really captured the theme and the emotion. What did you used for the piano sound?

steelside responds:

reFX neXus has alot of good piano sounds. built in, and has many options to tweak them to your ear. It is my favorite generator, no competition.
