Another Yasunori Mitsuda song for Chrono Trigger. I've had this one stored away for quite some time, and I've decided to put it up while in the process of writing another original. If you haven't played Chrono Trigger, then you need to get a SNES emulator and get on that immediately. It's chock full of great music, and the story is awesome. Check it out.

Very Nice

I have always been a huge fan of this song. It is so lively and fun and your remake of it really hits it spot on. There isn't really too much I could recommend to help improve this, it all just flows so well. Well done ^^

do the frog them when he cuts the open the mountain with massamune!!! (spl?) do it!!!

Mucky88 responds:

I'm pretty much done with Chrono Trigger covers. If I end up doing one, it'll be "To Good Friends". Thanks, though.

How many creative ways can one remake this song?

Seriously, this is the third remix of this theme that I felt that I had to put in my favorites. I was not expecting the accordion (not really sure if it is an accordion) 46 seconds into the song. That part really does remind me of Mardi Gras or some other festival here in Louisiana. The other instruments still have that "Chrono Trigger" feel, and that is a must for my 10/10 and 5/5. Chrono Trigger does have one of my favorite soundtracks but it's not my absolute favorite soundtrack. Earthbound (The game with Ness as the main character) has that honor. Look into that, and you'll see what I mean.

Mucky88 responds:

Oh, I've already played the hell out of some Earthbound. I loved it. My favorite SNES game is Front Mission, followed closely by Chrono Trigger. Thanks for the review!

When it got to the first cut-out, I instinctively went "HA", which of course was not accompanied by the voices in the original. Nevertheless, this is a very convincing remix, and is a good improvement on the SNES music. Well done!

P.S. Would you mind returning the favor?
