omg garageband
7/10 becuz of that loop and the garageband synth usage. Otherwise its very well put together especially for a gb song

Just picture your walking in an ocean made of diamond. You then are lifted into the air by an unknown force, and you start to fly across it. You dive into it. Deeper and deeper you go until everything is just black.
What you picture, is completely up to you.
I worked on this song forever. I dont really know how long, but jeez it was fun. My goal was to make an actual ambient song with Garageband. The program is very limited, so it was difficult but apparently I managed to make something that people enjoy, or some do hehe. Played on my mac keyboard, loops and synths made by dragging notes around in the note editor after playing them with my keyboard, and everything was made and mastered in garageband. One pre-set loop because im terrible with making drums. Just to clarify, it isnt entirely pre-set. I mixed the drums up a bit, added some more drum sounds, and added some reverb and other SFX effects to make it sound better. If anyone would like to help me with making completley organic drums next time, I would love to be taught hehe.
And wohh... top of the week? Wow... thats an honor guys thanks. It will be interesting to read what everyone imagine.

OH MAN, I completley forgot this song had a loop in it, but that loop is actually WAY different than it is from the loop library, so its really not preset or anything :D

Anything for my fatkid. I'll even do this entirely with my eyes closed.
I start off on a beach, gazing out across the sea, but what I'm seeing is merely the reflection of the sky, which is really just light refracted. I follow the light back to its source, flying through space at the speed of light. Trails of cool stuff flying out behind me.
I see alien spacecrafts trying to interact with me, but I must find the source of what I see. I get toward the sun and things get intense, my limbs begin to burn, but I can't feel it. Zoom back to the start, back on the beach. I hail down a passing ship, very lucky too because I had been here for too long. The ship takes me on board and I can taste the salty breeze when I breathe. I smell fish.
I gaze out across the water and am no longer mystified by the unknown. A tear escapes my eye but freezes to my cheek before it can fall... My beard is a frozen mess and the men on this boat seem unfriendly. They've taken my belongings... They've stripped me and are making me stand there naked.
The question I'm left with is: How naked can I be, knowing that I'm cloaked in truth and information?

Yesh.
A balanced ambient piece tinged with sadness. One time I left it looping for like fifteen minutes and had to turn it off because it was putting me to sleep, but not in a bad way. Instead of diamonds I pictured some sort of vague shot of a satellite orbiting the planet.
