I made this song as about my 3rd or 4th song in FL Studio 8 (originally titled "Still Remembering"). After about 2 months, I came back to it and decided to remix it under the title "We May Not Be Perfect" due to the hefty amount of musical "mistakes" I included in the song. Listen closely and you may hear clashing notes etc. but that was to add to the feel of the song. I had uploaded the song to supload.com and am now uploading it to my NG account as my first submission. Also please do not flame me for anything about this song (as opinions are subjective and you should acknowledge the fact that your opinion is not always the best opinion) although constructive criticism/suggestions are welcome. Also sorry about the quality but in the upload process the bass was kind of diminished and the drum kicks muffled among other things.
Well I'm not much for overly happy music...
And this has a definite happiness to it. But it's not really bad at all. Sort of reminds me of the old sonic games. I think a different tone for the flute would suit it a little better instead of so... poppy? Yeah I'll use that word. Maybe a little more mellow. And the piano and bass are fantastic.

I'll think about adding strings instead. It's just that the flute layered really well with the piano and gave it a kind of echo effect and I was too lazy to copy/paste a bunch of stuff to a new voice LOL. I'll reupload if I do change it though :P
Great flute melody!
That song were really good :) and i really liked that flute melody you really shoud save and do something better with it when you have volved a little bit :D overall the song was really good but not so you can listen to over and over again. I'll give it a seven couse it still sounds a little computerised. Im not saying im better but im just telling what i think when i listen to it.

Well duh it was computerized :P I don't have recording software of any kind and even if I did, the only instrument I have is a piano. I also don't have editing software so I can't put together any syncs or anything. Whole song made on FL studio 8. I may get back into writing songs. Probably won't due to other things and that I'm starting to get back into poetry. Thanks for the review though.

This song has a great feel to it. It's a very light and vibrant song with perfect rhythm and timing. Keep up the great work. I'd love it if you sent a comment back on some of my tunes. It may not be your cup o' tea but it would be greatly appreciated!
