Sounds like dramatic, intense backround music.
As a stand alone piece I don't think this really holds up as well as most of your others. I can see this being used in a part of a game leading up to the final boss, or a tension building part of a movie. Most of it at least, 1:05 - 1:20 kind of breaks away from the main theme of the song and gives it a different feel for a few moments. I really like that part, maybe you could have done more with it to really make this stand out...
Regardless, I did enjoy it. The sound quality is great, and for what it was the song was very good :)
Thanks much, this was mainly experimentation with my new products :] i should have more worthy music soon.
thanks again :]
This is pretty cool.
Its pretty awesome for a classical beat. I could see this for a video game or a supernatural television show/movie scene. Its evil with wicked violins and spine-tingling sequnced synths. Or at least thats what I think. (if I'm wrong with the instrumental choices---tell me!) Anyway great job. I'll give you a 10 just for putting a new song stuck in my head!
haha thanks much :D
the synths are all VSTi and DXi of real instruments, so they're kinda synthy in a way. otherwise they're all live samplings :]
As you and just about everyone who knows me realizes, I love your music. But this, well, meh. Doesn't hit me as anything great in all honesty.
Now that being said, the quality is wonderful. The sound you have going is very nice, and this has a really unique timbre and a atmosphere. But composition wise I'm not sure it is that great really.
What I mean by that is it is pretty stagnant. There is no real build up or flow throughout this song. It needs some variety to really make it shine.
]Also, I'm not liking the strings at all to be quite frank. The seem pretty nonchalant compared to your normal work. I don't know, it just doesn't seem like you put forth the effort in this one that you normally do.
But all that being said, it is still better than 90% of the crap submitted here to NGs. X-D
3/5 and 7/10 overall.
P.S. - I love the new cd label. :-)
i'ma gonna PM you my response :]
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
