UPDATE - SEE THE UPDATED VERSION WITH VOCODER HERE --> http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/314466 [remove space]

Cover of Power Run by Laserdance. Sadly there is no vocoder, I attempted it but it sounded so terrible that it just had to be removed. No amount of tweaking and compression was going to fix it. I was up until three in the morning for the thing.

--Instruments--
Roland Juno 106
Casio CZ-3000
Yamaha DX9
LinnDrum (sampled)
Oberheim DMX (sampled)

All parts (excluding the obvious) were hand played.

Truly Amazing.

Let me start off by mentioning, that I'm a complete fan of 80's synthpop and disco music, and that the original version of this particular song is one of my all-time favorites.

With that being said, let me get on to the review of the cover of the song itself.
I don't know how, but you've made an epic track even better. As much as i liked the original version of the song, it felt a bit underwhelming at times. I can honestly say, that your cover of the song fixed those parts, while keeping the overall "atmosphere" of the song generally the same. For example, there is a bit in the original at 4:10 up to 4:26, which was quite annoying to me.

As for the quality of the sound: Just terrific. When i compared your cover to the original with a bitrate of 320kbps, i found almost no difference quality-wise. Now sure, i may not have the best speakers out there, but i still have a decent 5.1 setup. The sound was nice and crisp, and the song didn't sound flat. Those are the two main focus points for me, when reviewing the quality of a song, be it the original mix or a cover.

The cover really shows that a lot of effort has been put into it, as well as a lot of talent. Bravo, sir. :)

Overall: 5/5 ; 10/10.
