But whenever I hear this song, listening in on it for the second time, I get some very strange nostalgia for a certain N64 game, Banjo Tooie. There was a recurring boss there named Klungo, and this song just has a familiar, yet new, vibe to it. Quite entertaining.
Whoa. I totally see what you mean. I loved fighting Klungo. I loved his theme too. Flippin' AWESOME! And thank you for your comment. It is greatly appreciated.
Woah, that's impressive!
Absolutely perfect for a recurring boss/enemy, has a good beat to it, can't really complain about the style.
Makes me think the guy is some sort of pirate or sea-faring guy, dunno why, just reminds me of it.
Fantastic job, I hope to hear more from you.
Awesome. Thank you. It's people like you why I love creating music. Thanks a million :D
Nice song the rythm the tune and everything else seemed to fit perfectly.
Thanks again to the blue dragonic knight. You've been an excellent member of my audience.
OH GOD IT'S GROGG!
OH GOD HE'S ABSORBING MY HEALTH. JESUS I CAN'T EVEN GET A HIT OFF!!! lol, this is so perfect for boss battle music, I have that "I wonder if I can get my older brother to come beat this for me" feeling. Terrifying. I couldn't think of anything to improve it, but maybe if you threw in a different contrasting instrumental section in the middle, I think it is kind of nice in this kind of song when it's clear the song has a long structure and even has some type of break from the constant WE WILL KILL YOU vibe, otherwise it might get repetitive, especially if it is a long boss battle.
Yeah, but it's NOT a long boss battle. That's the thing. Grogg is a reoccurring boss, just like Koopa Jr. in Paper Mario. So it's not meant to be a long song.
hella sick dude! this is intense! probably the best song i've heard in a long time!
Haha. Thanks. I'm glad you like it :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
