Hey, what do you know! In the time I spent making my second album, my other submissions finally got accepted!

So here's my personal favorite song off of It's Natural. It's very peaceful, with a hint of loss or something. It made me think of someone relaxing after a journey through hell, so I entitled it Pax Postea - The Peace Afterward.

It took me unbelievably long to find a way to get the MP3 to below the limit, since dbPowerAmp was claiming I don't have a license for LAME, which is released under LGPL anyways, and which I was still quite able to use via cmd once I figured out it existed.

I find myself wanting to change the bells in the beginning/end to the same glockenspiel I used throughout the middle and cut out instruments from early to later to end it... Maybe some other time.

Very peaceful.

This song's very peaceful, and soothing. When the piano comes in is where the "hint of loss" is, I think. I like it, definitely a good job.

It's also very repetitive, and takes a long time to evolve/build, which makes it seem all the more so. Perhaps flesh it out more, try a few new sections based around different progressions, give it a little more life. A very good job on the whole, though, nice work. (:

Zero bombers, man. Ruin everybody's fun. ;P

zephyrtronium responds:

I wanted to expand on it more, but it sounded so close to perfection that I was afraid I'd ruin it. Intimidated by my own song... Anyways, thanks for listening.
