"The electric angel flies through the purple hued skies."

This is another one of those "write now, figure it out later" songs. I'm really trying to push my studio capabilities, and I think this is one of the most professional sounding songs I have made to date.

Let me know what you think ^-^

Mood neutral, in a good way.

I keep on expecting to get bored of this after listening to it several times a day since you first submitted it but I don't. In fact every other time I play it I hear some subtle nuance that I hadn't noticed before.

To me it's quite mood neutral in that I don't feel any extremes of emotion while listening. This is one of those pieces that I can just mellow out to for extended periods of time, or use as background music for a game or some other random activity (which is my favorite kind of music). In one sitting I have listened to this about ten times in a row without stopping :P

I love how the song builds up for the beginning but not so quick that is sounds like it could have been two pieces of music meshed together, the whole thing just flows so nicely from beginning to end. I also like the ending, how it just kind of fades to a stop.

After hearing this the first time I started to listen to your other submissions, as of the time of this review I have listened to about half and so far this is my favorite. Just thought you should know :)

I would love to be able to give you some constructive advice on how to improve for the next one but all I can really say is to keep doing whatever you did to make this one!

Aeris responds:

Thanks much :D

I'm always happy when somebody enjoys my music so ^-^

I'm currently working on a collab with my good friend Gravey that's much like this one (in fact, this one was born from my work in the collab)

I'm also finishing up a song that's a lot like Skyfall, but with a lot more intricate work done to it, plus some glitching. So keep an eye for that one :]

Thanks for the excellent review! :>

I Like It...

This has such a smooth and atmospheric tone to it, which is becoming more prevelant in your music as of late. Not a bad thing, but rather just something I've come to realize.

The percussion is very nice. Gotta say I love the glitch you threw in there for a moment. I told ya db glitch is an awesome plug-in! :-D I really like how you write percussion, because it always sounds unique and original. Something I've been trying to figure out how to do myself as of late.

The mix of instruments is very unique as well, and very tastefully done. I like the choir a lot, especially how synthetic it actually sounds. Really fits the song nicely in every way.

The violin solo lead is wonderfully written. Whatever it is you use, it sounds great in all of your songs.

But all that being said, this one is missing something for me. It just doesn't hit me as one of your best pieces. But then again I still say my favorite song of yours would be Vaudeville Circus. So I kinda measure the originality of your pieces to that song.

5/5 and 9/10 overall. Very nice my friend. Very nice indeed.
