You submitted it before I could even get to finishing it T_T It's a good song. The horns are a bit loud. Need to get up on them normalization levels, son.
Haha, you're right. I'll keep that in mind bud.
Thx for commenting, and the great score =)
Melody: 2/2- nailed it, but not much energy to it at all. But its not bad
Drums: 1/2- they could have been a little more opaque
Bass: 1/2- nothing special. Could have used bass strings or trombone
Mood: 1/2- the theme is right before Victory Road and the Elite Four. It feels way too somber. The theme in my opinion should be a little more energetic, like a finale to a long journey.
Instruments: 2/2- You could change them to better suit the mood.
I know my remixes aren't a huge hit, but I just did this song a while back and I can really offer a lot of advice having worked with this song a lot. I know I dont have much room to talk, but my job as an artist is to critique others and offer whatever advice i have to offer. So I hope this helps...
>Drums: I wanted to give strong "marching" feel, that's why they're more noticeable.
>Bass: yep, just a a regular bass. I wanted to keep ye' olde' 8-bit feel where the bass is really simple.
>Mood: well, you nailed it. My music often comes out dark / somber... IDK why =/
Well, thx for taking your time to review! =)
And sorry for the LATE response.
This song is what they should have put in SoulSilver
( aka soulsilvers music for these routes suck but you rock)
Nah, the remakes from SS and HG are really great, but thanks for the compliment! =)
Thx for the review and great score! ^^
Love the song.
Not to go off topic or anything, but this song reminds me of 8th grade grad day.

Check out the remastered version of this one from the DS remakes, it's really a 10/10 remaster what they've done.
Again, thx for reviewing!! ^^
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
