Gre was a young man who lived in a Kirnylian town perched in a small valley. The people who lived there had never seen outside of it, since their ancestors had come there generations ago and they never left for trade or commerce. Because of this, they believed that there was no world beyond the mountains that protected them. The sun, moon, and stars all came from the heavens, beyond the mountains. This superstition caused them to avoid the mountains, lest they lose the favor of Kirnyle by trespassing into his world. Even when the village became overpopulated, they still dared not leave their peaceful valley.

Our hero, Gre, however, thought differently. He realized that the wind had to come from somewhere, and heaven was not believed to be a place affected by the elements. So, despite the uproar from his fellow villagers, he traveled over the mountains and discovered a vast plain that extended beyond the vision of the naked eye. He returned to the village, and gradually, they all accepted his discovery and followed him to larger land with better soil and more water.

Proclaiming him a hero, the people made Gre their king for showing them a new world. Mere weeks after this, an assassin attempted to enter his chambers while he slept, claiming that Gre had defied the word of Kirnyle, and was thus a blasphemer. As the assassin raised his dagger, however, a bird swooped in through the window and attacked the assailant. The commotion woke Gre, and the criminal was captured. This proved to the Kirnylian society that Gre was accepted by Kirnyle and approved as their leader.

After a long and prosperous era for the Kirnylians, Gre grew old and his hair turned white. He was ill. When it was announced by the doctors that he would surely die, Kirnyle appointed him as the god of the wind.

Enjoy the song, I spent a lot of time on it.

One of the bad ones

I did not like this track.... I felt the intro was to long and you just used the same melody throughout. I liked the ending though, thats when the melody changed and you added some cooler stuff.

As much as I'd like to defend this song, I have to agree with you. This is a chord progression that I've had with me since before I even got FL Studio, so interpreting it was a little difficult for me. I guess you can't always win, eh?
