you got the idea with the beat
the beginning pads and the notes in the beginning dont sound like they belong in a hip hop song though
the strings that come in after that also sound a bit fake/cheesy. are they a preset or somthing?
the strings at 1:27 though are a little better, its a cool melody too
but yeah those computer noise sounding notes dont really sound that great for hip hop
some drum change ups would also be nice as well
your on the right path though, you have alot of different noises and sounds so it doesnt get too repetitive
