My entry for Rig's Printer Contest!

Wanted to go for something a bit neurofunk here, the synth you hear at the start is actually a printer through a vocoder. Experimenting! It's your friend! The bass synth is a time stretched sample of one of the printer .wavs, resampled and sped up to give it tone. Then added some distortion, to give it grime. Thinking about it, The only thing none printer is actually the drums!

Hope you enjoy this, good luck and all the best to everyone in or out of the contest! Had to reduce the file size from 320kbps to 224kbps, because of the newgrounds uploader.

hmmm rig

even though the snare is silenced it gives this nice delay but it could be more punchier oh and try to use "real snares" it gives more karakter (dutch) this snare was just not on the REALLY good side it was just good ...
i like the reece but i would reccomend using t-racks and make an distortion in the classic comp :) then bounce it and well i dunno what u did with it after that but just as star so it gets more warmth and fatness to it (t-racks is the best anologue sounding soft effects i have heard almost sounding like a real :) )
oh well ima go to sleep now i need to master my dubstep tomorow didn't upload a song on NG along time il send u a message if it is uploaded probably next week O.o

Sample sources (just fast thoughts and used)
- high pressure air compressor
- broomstick O.o
- a sneeze :)
- a fart ?
- breaking up my monitor (actually did :p sounded nice O.o)
- keyboard typing
- grunt voices
- smashing glass ?
- a soldering machine ? (i got one that is pretty loud )
- cracking walnut ( i actually did )
- a 12v motor :) (it was awesome)
- and i got a little neat trick for u :)
- get a 3xosc and use a random sample as the waveform ( found it a few months ago just some happy acidents btw i used the standard FL studio 3xosc i assume u use it 2 cuz u did smogstep with core samples right ?)
- amen break snare makes great reeces if it is reversed

wel bye sleep well O.o

Very nice!

This is a great song, and would've done better in the contest, but the sidechaining you have here silences the snare at time. It makes it lose all the power it might've had :(

Great work at finding sounds in those printers, though!
