Electronic - Industrial

Another new song preview, this is my attempt to make a more alternative industrial track focused heavily on some scream vocals/ vocoded vocals. This will be the main bassline and lead.

I want to add a pad behind the chorus part or just something to fill out the mix during it... and I might lower the reverb and some of the delay on my lead as well.

Opinions or ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks for checking out my track!

Edit: Turned down the verb and delay on the lead and raised it's volume. Added GUITAR to the chorus!

This is closer to industrial than the rest of the trance/house that people are trying to pass as industrial.

Good stuff DT!

Listen to Nine Inch Nails? Dude, NIN is actually Industrial Rock and this is like DT plainly put it, EBM which stands for Electronic Body Music. As for true industrial, well NG doesn't support the true industrial community. Industrial music is an experimental music style, often including electronic music, that draws on transgressive and provocative themes. The first industrial artists experimented with noise and controversial topics. If you want a good example of of music that resembles industrial then the prominent industrial musicians include Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Boyd Rice, SPK, and Z'EV...
Not Nine Inch Nails. They were doing this shit when NIN was just getting out of Elementary School. And your welcome for teaching you.

As for you DT, nicely done. I like what sounds kind of like a snare drum there. Great touch. I only wish you would have made this a lot longer. =(

NOT industrial

Man this track doesn't resemble industrial AT ALL, let alone alternative. This is purely a trance track. Listen to Nine Inch Nails to get a slight idea of what industrial sounds like.
However, as a trance loop, it's pretty good and well produced.

DomesticTerrorist responds:

It is definitely industrial, more of a subsidary of the genre called EBM. Listen to Combichrist or Faderhead, the vocals make it harsh and whatnot, which is why it sounds kind of trancy right now.

Thanks for the compliment though :)
