Thought i'd play off of my earlier song "Stars" just cuz I needed something to go off of. Among a dozen or so unfinished projects i ended up kicking it off with this really well. Used the same intro sample (synth, not ambient) and that's about it as far as riff and sample similarities go. They're structured pretty similarly, but the only difference is this one is probably better. The ambient sample was taken from a "Homeworld" video, because i practically worship that game.
The title is based on the number of different main synths i used, and each represents a planet's moon, orbiting the planet and each one givining off it's unique sound as they align and create a musical piece. Hense the eclipse deal....i guess lol....

...but a lot of depth is missing. If you ever want to go back to work on this track, consider adding some middle frequencies, pads/strings, and/or more hi-hat/cymbal rhythms. A rhythmic low frequency might help as well, but it's not something that you'd die without.

Because it was a "Night, Moon, And Eclipse" type theme I think that there should have been a smooth, long background noise that gives off a partial eerie feeling... but than again, that might have gotten rid of the feeling the song gives off the way it is... good job man, Favorited!
