I am a Halo fan and I enjoyed how it was mostly faithful to the original, but the addition of the bell gave it a new twist which I enjoyed.
I tried doing a song from a different game than normal. I tried to make this sound SORTA like the original by having the strings (Sharp Strings to be exact) and choirs (First usage!).
Instruments used (*shudders*):
4 Sharp Strings (What you hear throughout for the strings)
1 Violin (Might be first time usage)
1 Hollywood Strings (Came with GarageBand but rarely used)
2 Church Choirs (New. Tell me if they sound good?)
1 Upright Piano
1 FM Bells A
1 Insane drum kit
1 Pop drum kit
(Not that I REALLY didn't want to use synths)

PLZ tell me how I did. I've never tried a Halo song. To any Halo fans: Sorry if you don't like it. Tell me what I can do?

Not the best
Not the best halo song i heard but all right.
First to be better i think you needed to make it a tiny bit faster.
A few other things need fixing but apart from that well done.
umm
im guessing you're new to this kind of music? well this was a real challenge! Not to say Steve Vai (author and composer of Halo theme) didnt make a good job! Youm ade a good job right here =D.
lol yeah I don't normally make stuff like this. I listened to part of the real song and tried to do what i could with this lol. It's usually only a REAL challenge when you don't want to use synth instruments because GarageBand is mostly made up of those. But since I downloaded God knows how many others, it isn't TOO much of a problem except deciding what to use.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
