Here's another remix I made. This is the theme from the Beverly Hills Cop movie, and since it's one of my favourite tunes, I couldn't help remixing it. I made this completely from scratch without the use of the midi file, and all the instruments apart from the drums, the bells and the choir ahh's towards the end were made by me using Sytrus. All the drum beats were made from scratch apart from one which is a preset drum loop. This took me quite long to do, so I hope it doesn't burst your ears. Enjoy, and please vote and comment.
EDIT: I changed the song a little: I inceased the volume and tempo, changed a drum beat a little and made it end not loop.
You should feel terrible for making this. :) At least the instrument choice makes sense here. I don't usually have that much to say about remixes since there's no original melody to talk about, this is no exception

Yeah this track has serious limiter issues. But I made nearly every sound in there with Sytrus so I guess I deserve some merit for that.

haha ok so this really takes me back with this movie theme and all, infact it was just on the other day, but anyways great start it really gives you that {FEEL} that the movie is playing and such later on in the track you do change it up with the softer {KEYS} wich is ok cause anytime you make a remix of something you should always add in your own style wich you have done here just a lil, but besides that its pretty impressive and i really enjoyed this really took me back lol, anyways once again nice job.

For this i wouldnt touch it, but if i had too i would try and make it more my own style keep the theme but add in more variaty of your own stuff.

Thanks! Actually, I never really watched the movie. I just heard the theme and I liked it so I tried to remix it, lol. I agree with you totally that remixes are best when they have your own style incorporated in them, but at the time I just made it similar to original theme...
