A cinematic jazzy ambient song I created inspired on the Matrix Series, probably one of the most complex projects I have made, you'll probably notice the track's structure is quite different from most of the songs you've heard, thats because Im trying to make this as original and innovative as possible.

Honesly Im not sure whether to continue it or not, but this is what I have done so far and I think its pretty good just like it is but who knows, maybe I will make another version of it.

Hope you enjoy it and please ask before using it for anything.

Thanks a lot!

EDIT: OH WOW! Well this was really unexpected, but thank you very much for the Top 5 newgrounds and thanks to everyone who voted me higher on the rankings.

I would like mention that if any artist wants to use this for their flash games or movies here at newgrounds (of course under no commercial purpose) feel free to do it, if it is otherwise, please contact me via AIM or send me a PM here on NG. Also if you would like me to make an special cut of a section of the song to create a loop or something for your animation, let me know and I'll get to right work.

Thanks again!

Not Bad

This Reminds me of Two Things.

Initially I thought of Red Faction II.

But i can Associate this strongly with some parts in the Original and Second Halo games. Both the Choir, Orchesdtra, and then Heavy Bass sounds can be found in the game somewhere.

Of course, your Piano changes everything. Good work. Maybe if it was played in a lower key throughout the song?

JohnnyFrizz responds:

Ummm I dont think so man, the jazzy tunes usually sound better if played on higher tones.

And yes, the Halo soundtracks have been a great influence in my work.

Thanks for the review!

AHHHH GLitch VST NICE NICE nice niiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeee nice pretty smooth but you basicly took a aleady made beat and added the glitch vst and the piano pretty Slick and then idk wtf that thing was at 1:54 but o well

JohnnyFrizz responds:

First of all the beat you are talking about wasn't an already made beat, I made that beat loop from scratch layering various samples, second the Glitch Vst you mentioned is barely use in this song, I just added a few slight effects.

But anyways... thanks for your comment and your compliments on the piano.

the first minute made me feel like I was playing Halo or Ninja Gaiden.

Good one but...

The track's structure is weird because it's from "Surrealism", made by "4one"... and I really dont enjoy it too much, it's like you stealed the structure, the bass starts certainly at same time if I'm not wrong, and the drums arent that great, but anyways, I guess it's legal to use other song's structure, not so original, but legal, I give it a 7 because the intro was great, but the rest of the song isnt so good =/ and it's frustrating but well... keep working, I would recomend you to use the piano sample, but a totally different structure, the piano is a really good one I used it (But never finished the song).
Just try to start from empty at all.

JohnnyFrizz responds:

Okay, first of all, this track has nothing to do with Surrealism by 4one, the only thing I took from it, was its bass style and then I made my own EQing pretty much the same way these guys did, but thats it! The key of the song is totally different from Surrealism, the bass patterns are completely different, the structure? The structure of the song is entirely different, the only reason you are saying that is because the you think the bass enters at the same time as the one on Surrealism did, but then the whole structure changes after that!

Listen to the entire song before making ridiculous comments like this. Please.
