After weeks of restless composing and mastering, it's finally here! The main theme for 'War Torn Kingdom', set to release late August on XBLA. This is one of four themes written exclusively for the game, the other three being "Begin the Attack", "Victory is at Hand", and "Dire Straights". I hope you enjoy listening to this piece as much as I enjoyed writing it, and as this is the first game I've been commissioned to write the music for, I'm really looking forward to its release.
Now a little more about the music:
This theme is designed to accompany a phase of the game where the artillery comes online, which explains all the boomy percussion. This theme also includes ideas from each of the other three shorter themes I mentioned above, in order to bring everything together into one main title. I don't think I will be changing this much, but your feedback is always welcome. I'll try to respond to everyone's comments.
