I made this jumpy little elektro house beat a couple months ago with a few very simple fruity loops plugins. The sequencing is very easy because I made all of the parts so simple. The drum set is just three pieces if you count the closed and open hihats as one. The snare, kick and hihat are all mixed on different channels with their own EQ and compression. Note that the snare pattern is more simple than it sounds because I used a delay effect to make it skip. I made the bass lines on two extremely basic analog synth plugins (WASP & WASP XT for any FL fans). Both plugins have the option to automatically alternate between two different oscillations, in this case low distorted bass and high beeps. The part that I would call the lead was produced on another WASP with some parameters automated to create different sounds for different parts of the song. I feel like this song is very fun sounding song, because its simple and I had a lot of fun making it.
