A hero lying on his deathbed. Memories of all his accomplishments and glorious battles before he draws his last breath... his last battle...

Oh my god, I think I just had an eargasm.

The MOMENT I started listening to it, I fell in love with it. It is perfect for a scene in my RPG that I HOPE to continue making where one of the people does die. This is just... too great a song for it.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Thanks Goku ^_^. I'm actually kinda pissed about how I screwed-up the second half of it (that "heart beat" really sucks ass and distracts alot) considering the effort I put in making that flute sound realistic and all (not to mention the strings a la Ennio Morricone... ha! I wish ^_^).

Anyway, after that mistake I promised myself that I'd work on this song one day... when I'll actually learn some music theory and composition. I still need to keep my promise, but I'm getting there.

Thanks for the support!

THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!

You earned my 10 stars dude. this is 100% RPG title screen music tbh.

This is too good for words, so i wont lecture you because of that (and because i cant be assed)

<-GM124->

FUCKING SWEET

SFaPiL2 responds:

Woohoo! Thanks Audio-Warfare!

YOU EARNED EVERY FRIKKIN STAR!!!!!!!!!!ZOMG!

you just blew me away. I DONT CARE if you dont think you earned these compliments! YOU DID! if you fail to believe i will find you and force you to eat lima beans.

this has a real dreamers ambience to begin, begining the journey light and gentle. floating the mind towards nirvana and lifting the heart into the warm embrace of the flute ( i think). your strings breath the very life into this piece and are beautifully complimented by the flute! i think as it builds there are many stunning things going on. but i really lost 30% of the mood when the eventual climax occurs....with the string stabs... i felt it wasnt justice for the build.
I really think it is the most beautiful piece i have ever heard from you, and also one of the most beautiful pieces of electronic music i have ever heard.
well done. I really wish you would submit a song purely based on the gentle warmth of the start of the song. just keep it simple and calm for meditation :D

you literally tugged on my heart with the first minute of this song.
you where clearly made for THIS MUSIC! make more. :D thats an order. :D

SFaPiL2 responds:

Thanks man! Your criticism, like Boux's, means quite alot to me. I'll keep note of everything you said.

The first part was the original concept and I had your tips in mind while I was making it (the ones from "the third lullaby"). I'm VERY glad the flute was good since it was the part I worked the hardest on: at first it sounded pretty fake and I had to make some changes second by second to make it sound more "realistic".

The second part (heart beat and all) was made another day and I have to admit that my mood while creating it was different.

When an inspiration will come I'll try my best to make it all become like the first minute ^__^.

Cheers mate!

pretty good

hey carlo, youre pretty good for this kind of music, this is very nice, i dont really have more to say, really sounds professional, keep posting more like it

SFaPiL2 responds:

Thanks Sam ^__^. Said from you means quite alot. Cheers!

hmm... cool. very cool

i know it's supposed to be like a requiem for the hero, (i hope i used the correct context, lol) but when i listen to this track, i'm thinking......... the intro to a final fantasy-esque rpg game. the hero steps out onto a huge field and looks back on all he's accomplished. then the thunder sounds flash to the main bad guy....sitting in his big bad guy chair, looking out into the night, thinking about the evil things bad guys think about. kidnapping princesses, causing world ruin, bitchsmacking heroes, the usual bad guy stuff.lol... the epicness of this track is great. love to see it in a future flash submission.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Lol... funny review. Thanks. It's good when someone pictures a story with the song... it means I succeeded in my attempt.

Wow... I'd love to see a flash use this song as well. It would make me very happeh ^__^.

Cheers
