That's life.

Beautiful harmonies, syncopation, and I appreciate the slightly off-kilter rhythms and often jarring juxtapositions of mood, but it feels a little heavy for a ambient piece.
Life is not always beautiful, and I enjoy what I perceive to be references to that in the music. This, however, doesn't detract from the fact that the piano never fails to throw me off when it forces its way into the arrangement.

So, yeah, in summary, beautiful in terms of structure and mood, love the way it builds, but the piano is a little too much, in my opinion.
But I guess that's life. xD

If your aim was to create a potent metaphor for life and its many interlocking paths and journeys, then take this 8.
