As good as this is, it simply can't compare to the original. Your tunes and bass are great, but where are the rest of this songs lyrics? The lyrics alone make this a great song, you really need to add the rest. On contrary to what you say, I think the lyrics are in sync just fine.
This needs to be completed, but I'll let you know now that to improve on this song, you're going to need to work very bloody hard. That means you're going to have to spend more than one day on it. Keep trying, you're almost there.

only advice would be to tone down the swing a littlebit, its a nice swing but with the syncopated emphasis of the offbeat hihat, its is too swung to point that it interferes with the heavy fouronthefloor beat.
