What's interesting about this submission is that it does come off as more creepy than sad. I guess the two might overlap with each other sometimes. The tune is actually fairly powerful because it makes it seem like something has been lost. The only problem is that it goes on a bit too long with not that much variety. It's still a decent song with how it consistently keeps that tone the whole way through. Many horror series like Silent Hill already have sad parts in them.
As most songs like this go, it ends well too even if its ending is a bit too immediate. It seems like you used the piano and some other instruments for this. At 0:31 you seem to put in drums. It's interesting to see how these instruments co-exist in this song, even if it is not the best combination. I don't, however, view it as classical.
