Hello, NG. This is my new track - "Fletus Caeli" ("Weeping Skies") - the BG music for Vengeance (our "C&C: Generals - Zero Hour" mod). It'll be an anthem for "God's Servants" faction.

I hope you like it. And don't forget to leave comments... =)

hmmm

It definetly has its own style. But it might have come off a bit too cheesey. I think it was just the effects you used. This sounds like background music. Though excellent background music it is! It just needs a cherry on top. The song started getting better for me at 2:00. This song also was pretty long. Still, it's a great song. Not bad at all.

We advance to war.

Ah, the sounds of an army mobilising for war. As the troops assemble and load themselves into APCs and move out across the Tiberium fields, we watch as the fate of the world rests upon their shoulders.

Possibly a candidate for requiring a little more variation, but perhaps this could be incorporated into something that encourages a little more urgency, such as the combat actually having started and things like heavy drum beats, like ominous rumbles of thunder, for example, as yet another factor comes into play on the field of strife.

I like the finish, as if everything has blown over and the killing has ended in peace. A nice touch, but it needs to sound like something happened in the middle to get that far.

Repetitive.

The beat, which the song centred around, was really nice, and had a distinctive "marching" feel to it. I could actually see it being used in some scene in a flash movie where some robots were advancing on a human city or something.

The main problem I had was that it got pretty boring, because it sounded pretty much the same all the way through. Try to add a bit more variety in there.

This had a very good sound to it. A good video game feeling to it all around. It also had a nice epic feel to it as the bass jumps out and bunches you in the face as soon as it starts. :P

I can see an army marching to this while the other army has no chance of stopping them at all. Sounds like it would be pretty cool for the introduction of a IRL video game. Something more than what you would see on a flash submission.

Good

That's a pretty good song you have here. The intro sounds like some of the old songs from C&C (I only played the first game). It also has a very militaristic drum beat, which seems to be fitting for a C&C game.

Later on you provide us with some very nice melodies, giving us a break from the hard background beat and making the song more interesting at the same time.

I let this play in the background while surfing the web and didn't get distracted while I was reading some sites. This is a good sign since the player shouldn't be distracted while he's playing, but at the same time he needs something to listen to so that the gaming experience isn't so silent. ;)
