This is my first attempt at an electronic style way back in 2000. Was listening to it today, and though are OK elements to it.

My biggest problem is I didn't have the equipment. Even my drum kits were limited. That being said, it still isn't terrible.....or is it.

Really nice

No idea if you check this, but I wanted to write you a note anyhow. I found your music by following a few people's favorites lists and am glad I did. This is the kind of electronic music I remember from back in the day - music with a little substance. You do a great job weaving together ostinati over a pretty simple set of harmonic progressions and your instrument choices add to a concerted whole rather than competing for attention. Really well done. Can't wait to check out your other stuff.

Why the low score.

I can't understand it.
I don't have much choice then to tell how much I liked the melody in this. It's so refreshing and absolutely something I could listen to almost any time, because it's that good.
I'd better check out more of your stuff, as I'm both into classical and the electronic stuff. Haven't much else to add, then I favourite and downloaded.

Excellent!

I love the sound of this piece. I'll admit, I've never been a huge fan of techno...the last thing I like to hear is the blasting synths and what have you. But this is completely different and refreshing..there's something mellow to it that really hits a sweet note. Unlike a lot of techno I've heard (although I'm no expert in the genre), this peice has emotion in it. I love the main theme and how it sounds very somber, smooth, and expressive. Its cool to see this from a mainly classical composer, but I think it's excellent! It isn't terrible at all! Keep up the great work.

5/5, 10/10

Very interesting!

I like to see you are trying (or at least tried) electronic genres. Since the day you arrived to newgrounds, I have enjoyed your orchestral/cinematic pieces, but this time you are offering us something fresh and different from your conventional stuff.

I love to see what happens when classical oriented artists try electronic music and this is a very interesting result. I must admit that, although your lack of resources, you managed to create something pretty good and unique, one of the elements I totally love from this song is your use of hats and shakers, it feels like if they were flying all around you haha, but perhaps that because of my surround sound system lol!

Haha one of the things I really like about classical musicians doing EM is that they write the piece as if they were writing a movement for an orchestra, there's pretty much no repetitiveness (or at least a very little repetition) on the song and that definitely helps a lot, since the listener never gets bored, and that's exactly what you've accomplished with me.

Im between an 9 and a 10 for this piece...its a pretty hard decision, but since you were limited on resources I will infer you are capable of doing it a lot much better =)

Perfect 10!

Good job Nathan!
