I was listening to the Twilight Princess soundtrack a few days back (yes, I'm a nerd, I get it), when I felt the need to do a composition of one of the songs. I picked Midna's Desperation because it was one of the strongest songs in the game, mostly due to the emotional power it contained. I decided to use a lighter instrument for the piece, as oppose to a piano, because it made the emotions of the song seem stronger to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Nice work...

It's definently the most emotionally powerful song in the game. The original is much better but it is made by Koji Kondo and he has been making music for 20 years. I feel that the instruments you chose have taken away the emotion from it slightly. The notes aren't as crisp and there's not enough reverb. The quieter and higher instruments don't engulf you as much as there's not as large an array of tones.

I tried making a song that sounded similar to this and it was really good but then my laptop died and I lost everything :'(

Yeah, my music really needs a lot of work. If I ever end up going back to "making" music, there will be much more time put into it.

Great

It made me think of a girl trapped within a dungeon with her own thoughts of what could be and what could have been.

But hey, thats just me. Anyway, the audio was greta in too many ways to describe in the time and space this takes up. Thanks for submitting it!

Good and bad

Great, but the quality seems a little crackly to me, but it might just be my speakers, so sorry if its just me.

That might be because of the pitch of the higher notes combined with the bells.

hmmmmm

no offense but i think this is overrated. i hear some crackling in it, also, it seems like there is only one instrument being used, and i think the sound of the song in general could be improved.

just layin down my thoughts.

The crackling might just be your speakers, because I don't hear any of it. It may just be a response to those really high notes, which I assume is the case. There are two instruments being used, but they are both variations on the vibraphone, so I understand how you could mistake them as the same instrument. Overall, thanks for the feedback.
