from a little repetative it still gives you an insight into how creative you are. Learning all the time :-) Nice piece.
Oh, man. I'm sorry! I never noticed your review! Thank you! :) I think I want to fix this piece and remake it. :)
Not So Much Dark...
This song seemed a little too upbeat to be "dark", but it was great all the same! Again, another great piece! Congrats and keep up the good work!
I'm actually going to remake this song and make it sound MUCH better once I get my computer fixed. :) Thank you very much! :D
Dark age medieval...
I'm not sure how the song got a bad start on ratings, but I would have to say that it turned out alright for a preview (they must have given up listening to the end). It stayed a little too repetitive for the beginning, but you really have to take into account that it's just a preview. I love the variation of melody at 1:17. It sounded a bit cluttered and I think it would may sound better if you really pushed it out onto spotlight, but that's just my opinion. For the dark part, I thought that the beginning really fit the role with the starting instrument. For some reason I wonder if the song would sound better if you accelerated the beat and then slowed it down towards the ending. In the end, I think that the key strength that may be worth exploring and expanding upon is that ending you have from 1:17 to 1:45, sounds very medieval on the topic of honor or royalty (or it could be a scene before the battle).
Also, something I noticed from the two songs you submitted is that it feels like your music is a stronger support rather than a story, but it really depends on which you are aiming for, and this is all just my opinion from a general stand point I take when reviewing music. Great start and I look forward to seeing the finished song. 8/10.
Thank you very much for your review. I appreciate it. :) (P.S. soooo very sorry it took me over a year to write you back about it. lol) I'm going to remake this song and make it much better. You're right about it being too repetitive. I'll fix that. :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
