The piece was done as a SATBB, but unfortunately I'm fresh out of guys that can sing choral music and are easily available. So I did this with just MY vocals layered on top of each other.
I was thinking about taking this piece and adding my own little melody line and harmony; but for now, I'll stick with the original.

beautifuL... too bad its so short T_T

VGSongbird responds:

I know. Once I get my computer back to working condition, I'll take some time to extend it.

Thanks for the review!

like an original track in the game, though you did it a bit quicker.

VGSongbird responds:

Part of that was because I didn't have a full choir and it felt awkward to have the pauses. But I will do an extended version soon.

You say you just layerd your own voice? Very clever. But, at the same time... you misspelled "Faith"

But still, their is just something about this song... I can't seem to get over it. It just seems so... ethereal (it feels odd to use the root word of my screenname) I applaud your effort, it sounds so... peacefull. So calm. Definitely a favorite. Very well done. Very VERY well done. I never give 10s, unless a piece (game, movie, or music, it doesn't matter) can envoke a certain feeling. And you have earned a 10. I applaud your work. Welcome to the Sanctum of Heart, population, 4. "The Composer", "Do Us Part", "Rain", and now "Hym of Fayth"

VGSongbird responds:

lolz I know how to spell "Faith"; I've seen the title of the song spelled both ways, and I liked it with a "y" more.

Thank you for the review. And for the 10! I appreciate your support!

So glad you did this without the tenor and bass. It's so beautiful as it is.
So amazed you sang this all yourself. The sheer effort that must have gone into that is a commendable thing in itself.

But that aside...this is so, so very epic. Hopefully the reams and reams of tens have helped establish this fact more than I could here.

It's just so pure and ethereal. You have a fantastic voice, seriously. So lots of you together makes an awesome piece to listen to. I think this is my 8th listen in a row as I type. xD

And I've run out of synonyms for "this was epic".

As others have said; more please? You can never have too much of an incredible thing. Kudos, seriously. 10ed, 5ed, downloaded, applauded. Thanks for posting this.

VGSongbird responds:

Well thank you for listening! It did take quite a while to pull the parts from the song, because they blended so well. I'm glad you thought the effort was a success ^_^

This just makes you think elven forests with birds singing. Were a lone fisherman stands at a bank and checks his line. Elven children play in the woods. A deer and her fawn graze at a medow. A hunter is walking in silently in the high grass. A blacksmith is making a blade. A lumber jack is chopping down a tree. A farmer waters and checks his crops. A mother buys fruit and vegatables in the market place. A knight practices fighting. This is the most wonderful and peaceful music i have ever heard and probably will ever hear

your friend,tylertheknight

VGSongbird responds:

That's definitely vivid. And a description I'd never thought of myself.
But it's fantastic that this created imagery for you!
Thanks so much for the review!^_^
