As I think of a better name for this song I will write this commentary (the mp3 is called "pan fry my face," just ignore that.)

So...I used a Prophet for all the sounds in this one, trying to get some nice vintage break sounds. Most of the sounds are just basic waveforms with boat loads of FX. I took a more simplistic approach to the drums and tried to keep things neat in this one. One thing I did was actually use the mixer to master stuff (WOW good job Chris!) One thing I should say though is I dont have the right sound scheme on my computer so things I am hearing you might not...so While I am stepping and bobbing to this you could be hearing a big ol' piece a shit. There is kind of a late 80's early 90's feel to the song which makes it cheesy but in an awesome way. Anyways if it doesn't sound like a piece why don't you boost my self esteem and tell me how good I am at Dragon Ball Z Super Butouden 2 for Super Nintendo?

So I came up with the title Worlds Apart, I guarantee that is already a song but oh well. If you have a better name for the song, suggest it please? in the meantime enjoy listening to my face frying! or worlds apart...I just changed the name again. I hope you like whatever this song will be called! :D

*I'll probably be remastering this in the summertime once my studio is all done*

Hey just wanted to say this song is amazing, I listen to it almost everyday. It's just one of those mellow songs you can just chill to, and sometimes when i cant fall I play this on repeat quietly and it helps. You should make more songs similar to this.

This is some of the best stuff I have heard in a long time. I like how you went and had such a lengthy description of all of the work you put into this. It really does show, as it manages to have a lot of transitional effects while keeping the beat. I was also impressed by how this manages to keep its pace well for three and a half minutes, never being boring or anything. I could simply just enjoy the stylistic beat it had going. It's a pit hard to put into a category, but it's something definitley good.

If only I had spent more time on the song and less time on Street Fighter and Butouden 2. It is a pretty solid track though and I have to say I stayed true to my own genre, that's why it's so hard to generalize. Thanks for the review.

this is just a test...

This is one great piece of work. The intro seemed pretty mellow, then the bass kicked in, then I loved it. Honestly, 10s across the board. I loved the bass, the sounds. They flowed smoothly.
Looking forward for some more.

Marks-a-lot responds:

what's the weather going to be like tomorrow...another scorcher, cool

it's good, but im missing a solid sub bass , which would make it ALOT better imo :)

Marks-a-lot responds:

yea I really don't capitilize on low frequencies that often. I tend to cram the mids as well just my style though. thanks for your time and have a good one!
