Metal, Rock - General Rock

Hey there listener. I learned a lot with this track, especially about sequencing in FL and Project 5. It's been fun working on it because the recorded guitar quality using my new audio interface is better than I've ever been able to get.
The guitar fuzz tones were achieved using the neck/middle pickup combination of a fender fat strat; with a circuit bent arion stereo phaser, or a zvex fuzz factory with a wah pedal, or an overdriven marshall amplifier, all through a miked marshall amp.
Also, I tried out a lot of new VST plugins; the ones I ended up using are ferox tape simulator, blockfish, omnisone, and flux stereo tool.
My songs usually have lyrics, and that makes the naming of the track easy, but I didn't record any for this one. I named it "In Two Weeks" because I've been thinking about how much two weeks can mean - you can become someone very different in two weeks time, if you try, or don't.

Reminds me of muse (which is good.) The track is pretty sick and space rock like. Kudos (especially on the piano.)

5/5 10/10.

TomBanks responds:

Yeah I can see where you're coming from saying it sounds like Muse. Actually, the zvex fuzz factory is a pretty distingishable effect that they use a lot, that I used here, and they also do a lot of synth arpeggios. I like Muse a lot, too, so thanks for the kind words, though I know that I'm still not close to how good their music is.
