As far as i know, the Gameboy version of Mega Man 2 is pretty obscure. It's certainly not as good as it's NES counterpart, but then again, my first console was my Gameboy. I didn't know any better, and i still had hella fun playing it.

I played through it recently and beat it in about an hour or less. It reminded me of my past and the simplicity of gamer's tastes back then. It also reminded me of how much I loved the music in it, even though when i was that young I didn't enjoy much music then.

TL;DR: This is a remix of the Gamboy's Mega Man 2 Title music, and possibly the start of a series of remixes.

The beat was sick..

But the melody looped at points that it shouldnt and it kinda ruined the song.

The idea was great, but putting it into action just didnt come out good enough

but i will still 5 it because the effort put into this was worth it.

Thanks a lot.

I really wasnt a big fan of the main melody synth i used honestly. That may have been the cause of what you didnt like. I may re-upload a better version some day.

I never had the chance to play the Game Boy Mega Man games, so I'm not familiar with the music. But hey, it's got a nice feel. I can definitely see why you like the game. They way you make it sound, it almost feels like it's from a Mega Man X title, which is an interesting and fun comparison.

Although simple, it maintains the energy that is Rockman/Mega Man.

Great remastering!

Wow, thanks a lot. while i was not attempting to get the "Mega Man X" feel, I see how it does resemble it in a way.

Not to go on a tangent, but Mega Man X (the first one) was one of the games i played the most as a kid, and still stands out in my mind, both game-play-wise and musically. I may attempt to do some X remixes soon as well.

Oh yeah, thanks for the review.
