Hmm.
Is the piano panned to the left ? Kinda hurts my ears.
Besides that. Wicked loop. I enjoyed it very much so.
***Video Game Boss Battle Loop*** - Constructive Criticism is smiled upon :)
***EDIT: More trumpet madness, mixing, dynamics.***
Lots of stuff going on in my life, good and bad. So after this great idea (the first piano riff), I decided to let it out here.
Inspiration Includes:
-You for being a listener
-Charles Ives for being a chromaticism nut.
-Legend of Zelda for having awesome boss battle music.
-Gladiator (influenced my trumpet's beginning style)
-Life as I mentioned.
-God, for making me a musically curious individual
-The G# Locrian #2 scale, which I discovered as an existing mode as of yesterday. BRILLIANT!
-My friend for telling me to add that extra trumpet part
-ImperfectDisciple

It's a great loop
But what's up with the volume decreasing at :15? Other then that the loop fits the description perfectly. I need to fill up my hearts, grab some extra fairies in a bottle, and make sure my arrows are max'd out before proceeding into this one :-D
Very true.
-The volume change? Eh. It's like the parts in the more modern boss levels where you do a specific task, and the volume cuts down a bit at that part. Stupid idea, but oh well. I might fix that so the loop makes more sense.

Awesome.
This is brilliant. It's gonna get old after the 20th time this has been looping. haha.

Very well made!
I haven't reviewed anyone's music for a while, especially yours! All the same, this was a very well put together piece, as far as how the sound goes. Very good with the gameboy-ish sound going on. I'm guessing it's supposed to be similar to LoZ, since you gave credit to it for inspiration! Now, the problem I see with it: add some background to it. Just some soft harmonics, second melodies, playing in the background. You did a good job making the sound build, but, the whole thing can be a bit overwhelming to the ears if you make everything too loud, even if it's EQed well. Somehow, I feel that I'm not explaining this right. But, if you have any questions as to what I mean, as in, go into further detail and discuss this, you know how to contact me. Once again, great job on another successful video game piece, ImperfectDisciple!

Yeah, I get what you mean, and you're probably right, but I'm okay with the instrumentation as it is...for now. May or may not update it. I need inspiration for it first.

Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
