This was the quickest song I've ever made, only about 3 hours to record everything. It's probably some of my cleanest soloing too.

If anyone wants to do drums or bass, feel free, because this song specifically needs it, because of all the longer, slower harmony parts.

EDIT: just in case someone brings it up, my guitar might sound out of tune because the intonation is off, and I haven't had the chance to fix it, especially with the opening harmonies.

Wow its like incredible you should get some drums, bass and slap some lyrics on to that and it's be like one of the best songs ever

Awesome harmonics and soloing! I think it would probably fit in a screamo or metalcore song. When I started listening to it I didn't wanna turn it off!

What kind of guitar and amp are you using and what equipment are you using to record?

ZzEpiCzZ responds:

My guitar is an LTD EC-400, and my amp is a Line 6 Spider III, all plugged straight into my computer's microphone input, which is a wonder that I can get things to sound as good as they do... lol.

You might think that some harsh vocals would sound good on this, but I prefer not. I try for a power metal feel with my songs, and some of my other songs and ideas I have do/will try to have a progressive metal feel to them, sort of like dream theater.

just get some drums

maybe i could add some, just need to know the tempo your playing at. good guitar work.

ZzEpiCzZ responds:

I'm pretty sure it's at 160 bpm.

I like it. It's so........ummm......METAL!!! LOL. It sounds kewl. I like the harmonizing in it. Even though the intonation is off. You can hardly tell through all the METALNESS anyway. It's crazy that you only wrote this in 3 hours too which is amazing LOL. I feel like I might wanna do some bass for it right now because well, I think this song is kewl and I've got nothing better to do so I might if my recorder wants to cooperate.

Nice tune, dude.
Excellent playing, and decent tone!! You do need some drums. I suggest for starters, maybe downloading Beatcraft. They are free, but sound great. Gorebastard, and Demon-Slayer12 prefer to use them. :D
Great starter drums, for the beat. :D

Anyways, dig this. Please, if you think about it, PM me when you put new stuff out.

are you sure beatcraft is free? because their site says there's a trial. Anyway, thanks for the review, it's nice to have a regular post a comment on one of my pieces, makes me feel all warm inside, lol.
