Again I am impressed. This song has excellent drums (of course)... and great bass. I have to agree that the random sounds at the beginning are a good intro. I see that for this song you also took two very different sounding parts and put them together, although to me it seems like these parts are more coherent and have better transitions than the other song. Another thing I really like about this song is the crazy pauses. These are GREAT! They add suspense and keep the listener on edge. Also, it seems with this song, just like the other, you have an amazing sense of beat and keep an excellent upbeat feeling throughout the song, yet there are many dark undertones given by the bassier instrumentation.
Going back to the randomish sounds, when they play AFTER the intro in my opinion they are too loud, almost overwhelmingly so. Also I had a problem with throughout the midsection of the song, there was a part that was really repetitive. While repetition is key to music, in my opinion this part was TOO repetitive. Also, the person below me mentioned mixing problems, I would agree that some of the lower frequencies are unbalanced, so look into that.
Overall, this is amazing. I would have to say that this was very well executed and must have taken a lot of time and patience. Keep up the great work.
As you asked
Liking the intro
It is a good technique to start a song with random sounds.
The melodies and percussion are very creative. You clearly took your time to come up with this stuff. Acually its very good, seems like a mixture of techno, breakbeats and even metalsounding basses.
The thing that you should work with is brightening it a bit. A good way to start is to remove a reeverb from low frequencie notes. You should lover the volume of some mixer channels equaly. Panning instruments of the same frequencies slightly opposite of each other sometimes does the trick aswell.
Feel free to return the favor :)
past about the first 45 seconds this song gets really good!
All the beeps and other sounds were well orchestrated, nothing was out of place!
Good job and good luck on your future songs!
