Where does sound come from, Newgrounds?

Where does Emotion come from?

My goal was to use stereo separation to recreate the environment of a piano player, to allow you, the NG listener, to hear where sounds are coming from. Notice how low sounds seem to come from the left, and high notes from the right? Hear how the door moves through space, how the footsteps echo off the walls. How the chair rolls beneath you. This is Spacial Awareness, through sound!

Are their origins the same? This song attempts to find out. Follow the mentally complex piano player on his auditory journey through notes, hear the world from his perspective as he improvises a song from his heart.

Hear his song, from his ears.

Very Creative!

Great job, and a fun idea. Reminds me of the Virtual Barbershop (if you haven't heard it google it, it's pretty cool!) I loved the introduction, I think it's the coolest part of the whole track.

I think it'd be fun to expand the idea to an entire orchestra. The piano was exaggerated quite a bit (I play the piano a lot and it doesn't quite sound like that), but and orchestra really is that spacial when you're sitting in the middle of it.

Great idea, I'd run with it and see what you come up with!

very nicely done indeed, I think it is fantastic, and very original. ::claps::

interesting idea?

nice touch, and pretty original idea... how long did it take to give it that sound?
all the panning and such....

wicked awesome. =]

Okay, first off-
great job with the stereo separation.
The song was pretty beast itself.
but that just adds to it.

I really can't think of anything else..
Oh nice effect with the door and footsteps in the beginning, adds a more personal feel.
