Better than your other rendition,
I rated your other version a 4/10 (2/5) as that one seemed tinny and barely up to snuff with the original (also it couldn't be considered as orchestral) but this one hits all the right buttons. Well done.
The "Original" you mentioned isn't quite the reworking you think it is. If you listen closely, you'll realize the instruments are meant to be the same, but the chord progression on all instruments is altered dramatically. Listen closely to both and tell me I'm wrong via inbox if you think my statement is false.
Great job Tr4nc3r!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate that you like this version much better! I'm with you on other version of this song, it just doesn't work good and doesn't even sound like that. But I'm really glad that this was better! Thanks for the review!
Very calm remix, I enjoy listening to it.
You probably already know this, but in case you don't pandemonium is actually a song that originated in the Japanese release of FF2. The song in FF9 is actually a remix of that song. I'm sorry to get so technical, it just bothers me that so many people think the song originated in FF9 and don't even know about FF2.
Regardless, its an enjoyable song, and I'm glad you made this remix.
Again, not as epic. But I think it's more like...
The FF9 Pandemonium castle--IN YOUR DRERAMS! O_O
Really, it feels that way to me!
Awesome job! <3
..at least for my tastes. I won't detract much from the song just because I like the original's feel better. I like those stong organs, church bells and those sort of things which give the original song a tense and gothic feel.
Anyway, this calm version of the song isn't bad either. It's also one of my favorites and I too will remake it eventually XD I think this one is rather simple, but good for background music. Very nice overall =)
Thank you so much! I'm gonna make remake from this though too again, little harder version, more techno/trance or something else, we'll see what it's gonna be.
Oh you'r going to make remake too? Yay, I will check it then^^, I like your remixes too, they are so nice!^^
But still, good you liked this remix =)
I liked the instruments you picked, but I don't think the drum samples were that great of a choice, not to mention the drums were really basic.
Well they sound very basic, but I take those because I wanted to make remix that sounds something like techno, so I picked kick, hi hat and clap that I have downloaded, those aren't FL Studio's own drum sounds.
But good you liked this^^
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
