So this is my newest song I've been working on, Sorry for such a length between song creations, I've been in a bit of a rough patch in my life.

As such I also have none of my normal music making Equipment. just my grand Piano at home. So I've decided to Upload this Midi version of my newest song. I ACTUALLY SING TO THIS!!!!! OMG>

The notes I sing are the piano melody in the treble.

I know this is no where near what I should be uploading after such a long absence, but it's the best I can do for now. I'll upload a full version in say a month or two tops. Hope you like it. and Please leave a review. I KNOW this isn't going to get high ratings, so just drop me a line on what you feel about the song itself, not the quality of the production, because in all honesty There's really not much I can do with Midi considering I don't have FL or Cubase or any of the other notation programs.

Hope you Enjoy!

wooo hoo MIDI!

I got to be honost with you man the opening melody resembles cannon in D a lot LOL. Anyway, its not bad at all. i'd like to hear what ever you have and if you need help with vocalists hit me up! =) I'll lend my voice to the project. LOL. Much luv to ya and keep up the music!

kaptainkewl responds:

HAHAHA. I use the same chords progresson in the intro as I do in the chorus to be honest, and I think they ARE the same as Canon, but I variated them enough to not even notice.

Maybe I'll change the intro a bit to fix that problem, can't have copyrgith on my ass now can i?

Pretty melody

I loved the melody you introduced at the 0:18 mark. If you played that on a real piano it'd sound great! If you're interested in getting more involed in composition, you may want to think about purchasing a set of higher-quality sounds (let me know if you need any suggestions).

Also, try quantizing the notes, they aren't quite as rhythmically accurate as they could be. I read that this is just a MIDI version, so you are probably already aware of this. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Nice work, this piece has some potential!

I'll definately give you my 5 as I believe with exposure you could get a lot of helpful feedback!

P.S If you have the time I'd love your ideas on my latest piece, ST Suspense!

kaptainkewl responds:

Hahaha, You don't remember me! I'm a moderator at Krinlabs. Honestly, Check out my other music, I've sent you a couple PM's about grabbing higher sounding quality. I don't work in mid, as I play my music live. My Sound equipment is away for the time. If you listen to my other music you'll hear the mediocre stuff got, It's not cubase 4 with a shitload of vsti's or anything, but I don't mind it nonetheless

Thanks for the Review
