Remake, not a Remix

Well it's not a remix, but it's not blatant plagiarism either. I can hear differences between yours and the original Ray Lynch version, the timbre of some of your beats and synths is much more aggressive than the original (meaning they are a little harder and more defined than the 80s synthesizers the first was made on).

But a remix is not a remake. First rule of production. To make this a remix you have to take the general idea and theme of the song and apply your own touch to it, adding passages and lines. Yes it's a nice song, and I can understand not wanting to change it too much, but that's the whole point of a remix. This is more aptly put a cover song, and so very close to the original that I can understand why some have accused you of stealing it.

Try making a whole new approach to the song, maybe try a genre approach and see what comes out of it.

How is this a REMIX?

There were no changed made to this song. Nothing at all. So, don't call it a remix if it's just a shameless copy. Atleast TRY to make some alterations.

*Shakes head at submitter* Ray Lynch song.

I favor Ray Lynch, I know this song by heart, no alterations have been made to a sagnificant point to call it a remix. Submitter, I really hope you try better next time, to remix for a better result. I have no respect for plagiarism. In addition you did not give credit to the artist (as stated in "Attribution: You must give credit to artist.")I know this sounds harsh, but its justified with the blatent action that you have displayed.

DJdudenator responds:

have you read anything that i have said? earlier i said this was a remix, but I didn't change any parts of the song because if i did the song would become sh*t! and since I am also a fan of Ray Lynch I do NOT want that to happen to ANY of his songs. And I did give credit that this is Ray Lynch's song. But for some odd, unapperent reason, My notes about it/comment has been erased and I can't find it. Sorry if I'm offending you in any way but I hate when people accuse me of something that I had explained earlier.

Ray Lynch made this

I give a zero because this was made by Ray Lynch you even kept the same name! WTF? Honestly people google it! Seriously dude, not cool.

DJdudenator responds:

Apparently you didn't read my comment on this song or it was either deleted or removed. I said this was a remix of that song. I didn't change it too much because then it wouldn't be the same song. If you listen REALLY closly yopu can hear some stuff because i didn't want to make it too obvious. Sorry if I caused any trouble...

Light and Upbeat!

This song was really good, the instrumentals were nice. The singing like noise starting at 2:08 didn't really seem to fit it that smoothly however, it was just to pitchy. Really nice lightly strung melody, same goes for the drums!
