Electronic - Trance

Author Comments

I made this entirely today. I started work on it at about lunch time, and I just finished it like 5 minutes ago, at 7:20 pm. This is a trance song that I came up with, and FINISHED for once, lol. Most of the time, I end up uploading demos for songs that I either move past or put to the side for other projects.

Please enjoy and review. Comments are welcome! :)

New. Very.

It might just be me, but the slow intro, I like it.

However. The middle register of the piano doesn't seem to fit quite as well with the rest of the intro, and when you speed up the beat to go with the synth intro, the piano also seems to be fighting to prevent the song's gaining energy.

It's a solid song, yes. It definitely incorporates ideas put to use in a way I have rarely seen. The mastering and mixing are without any problems, but I suppose the main problem is that the song doesn't know what it wants.

The trance elements speak to me of high energy and passion, while the piano exists in a world of quiet serenity.

Both battle, and unfortunately, it isn't one of those magical musical alchemies that blow you out of your seat. :(

Pretty good.

I liked it, I think that it could got to a much more driving beat and really broke out. Much faster tempo at the build up would of been awesome. But I really like the tune.

Fast worker!

You are a fast worker! I really enjoyed the piano sprinkled throughout (I'm a sucker for a piano). The gradual entrance of the synth was very smooth, so I was never startled by a new addition to the piece.

I felt as though the beat wasn't quite as strong as it could've been- I'd experiment with emphasizing the 2 and 4. It is a bit cliche, but for a good reason. An alternative would be to emphasize just 2 or just 4. It'd give it a much slower feel, but you may find it to be a nice addition. Worth a try, at least!

Keep up the great work!

If you have time, I'd love to hear your ideas about my latest track, ST Suspense!
