Didn't know you liked to sing, I thought you were just inasne. Wish I could sing, I'm at "Boy-band" level currently, but I might work my way up to "Spears" one day.

Voice

I'll just speak about the voice, I atleast know a bit about that. Your voice is a bit nasal, and that makes me think you're not breathing properly. With breathing, make sure you're doing it from your diaphragm and not your chest. If your chest moves at all, you're doing it wrong. Also, you're hitting the notes, but you have to think about the texture of your voice. Something that helps me is to visualize the sound coming out of my mouth and try to put it at the center of my open mouth. I've been singing frequently for a good two years now and only now am I starting to find some things I can sing really well. If you want to sing it's really helpful to see a vocal instructor, even if only once to get some initial breathing techniques and ways to practice. All in all though you still sound fine here, but there's plenty of room for improvement. Great recording/mixing of everything else too, it sounds really good!

It honestly sounds a lot like it came from the 70s/80s era. Your voice and the piano melody really remind me a little bit of the way REO Speedwagon sounded. Really you're doing quite well with this and the only kinds of things I could critique would be just things that I would change according to my style. In my recent stuff, I've been using the best compression and such that I can get ahold of, and it seems like you may need more of that, but I can't critique on that because I know that if you don't have the equipment, there's nothing you can do. As for your vocal performance, I can't give any critique because you sound like you have it under control. And as for your writing skills, I won't be able to develop an analysis until you've written more of the song.

Peaceful song

and theres no pretending to care in that review...love the harmonic work nice job, and the piano is just beautiful man and sure the voice is not perfect but then define what the hell is perfect? One thing i know is that it fits very well in this song. Keep practicing. Their no way this sucks, you got the same thing i got, telling yourself that youre not that good :D, You got something big here but do not let the mainstream influence ever change this music, the simple sound of it is very peaceful and perfect the way it is, cant wait to ear the finished product, on that, peace to you sir.
