Hi, I made this one a while back as part of a collage project. I have always wanted to recreate the theme tune from GTA (The 1ST One!). I learnt the melody for the organ and then layed it down on my keys.
I got some annoying bell samples of a door bell (it was destroyed afterwards), I then pitched it and this became the not so annoying lead part.
I sampled a giant fan (few years before), I thought this would work well as a pad sound, so it got phased and layed in as well. The bass was sequenced in as well as the drums, I wacked in a few loops as well.
This was then all mixed down and ran through an outboard compressor. The song then was mixed with some carnell drums (Im not sure where i found these, but they sound good). It took a while to mix between other projects and then I finished it. It then sat on my hard disk for about a year, while I made remixes of tetris, Xenon 2 and sonic the hedgehog. I thought that it was time for it to be brought out for some fresh air, so here it is, a copyed GTA song which is not entirely original, but if it was.....It would not be called a GTA Remix. Enjoy Peeps! :D
