This is our entry for the MAC09 March contest, Who's your Daddy?

First off, a BIG congratulations to Tom Fulp with his kid being born. Good luck with fatherhood!

Now, this is our cover/remake of the Gummi Bears theme. This show is probably one greatest cartoons from the late 80's/early 90's. The original theme song was composed by Michael and Patty Silversher.

You can find the original on YouTube, if you're curious.

We're also looking for someone to put an animation/movie to this so that we can feature it on our YouTube account! PM us if you're interested!

Hope you guys like this!

Gummiberry Juice: a magic potion that endows the Gummis with bouncing abilities, but gifts humans (or ogres) with momentary super-strength as well as other numerous uses, including serving as fuel for mechanical machines.

Nice, that is hilarious. You know for the shortest time when I was younger I did watch that show. *shudders* Man I dont know what I was thinking! But this song is great. Remixed, good beats, could dance to it, being silly! In some ways its disturbing that you did this but in a good way. Stop brining back long lost memories damnit! lol

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Hahaha, yea... The funny thing is I think it's still a better show than the crap that's on now for kids. Then again, that's probably what my parents said about all the shows I watched.

Thanks for the review!

great work with this Techno piece

great work with this one man, i loved the opening, it was so calm and relaxing, and sounded really great, and the transition into a more throbbing fast-paced piece was great. The lyrics were also a nice touch, sounded really catchy and fit the song well. Great work here man, 5/5 from me, can't wait to hear more! :)

You are the first ever song i've automatically given a 10 within the first 15 seconds. Not to mention at about 30 when the main synth riffs kicked in. However, I was not a huge fan of the vocals, but that's just personal preference. The lyrics were very solid. They flowed well with the music, and this is difficult to do with almost any song. Good werk!

Tasty Beat

That's pretty funny - an excellent idea, and well done. I'm sure the Silversher's would love it, wherever they are. (Whatever DID happen to them?) It has just the right amount of time to the song, and has a good balance between lyrics and instrumental (easy to catch beat!). After listening to the original, this is an obvious improvement. (Bonus Kudos for keeping the basic structure of the original - many people mess that up with remakes.) Good job!

10/10 for creativity, balance, and keeping (and improving) the original.

Hah, niiice. Yea, the structure really troubled that and in looking at the over remixes/covers we saw that most people did tend to screw it up. 4/4 w/ triplets was confusing at first, but man is the melody catchy.

Thanks for the review, man!
