Unfinished Hard Trance tune im working on now.

Used FL Studio 8:
*Nexus
*Sylenth1
*V-Station
*A SHIT LOAD of filters & automations.

About 35 patters, 5 wav sounds.
10 instances of Nexus, 1 Sylenth1, 3 V-Station

Computer lags like a total bitch on this tune. HAD TO EXPORT IT AYE.

Hmm...

Well...
+ = Good
- = Should look into
+/- Good, but it needs some inproving.

+The transactions were great!
+The hihats were nice...
-The kick. i didn't like it at all, change it to one with less of a tail (if you know what i mean)
+The piano at around 2:40 was nice, i like its smoothness.
+/- You should do something with the pad, like side-chaining it.

Well, there you go!

loved it

this was fucken' great, i have to admit the bass kind'a took a bit of sustance of it but it's incredibly good song.... I'm waiting to see it finished

Thats alot of bass

That kick has a huge tail to it lol. Sounded good till a few more elements were brought in and then the mix got a little crowded in the low end. Your kick sounds fine but I can't seem to figure out what the bass is doing.

As far as structure goes it sounds great I personally liked it but the bass end in my headphones took over and I couldn't hear as much as I could. Maybe a sidechain on the Bass could help clean up the low end. Even using an EQ to give independent frequencies to the bass and Kick could help it out some.

Anyway you has my 5s.

Teck071 responds:

I totally agree, the bass is damn fucked...

dont know how to fix it
