A belated tribute to the great J Dilla, whose birthday would've been a few weeks ago. Upright bass courtesy of Buster Williams.

I like As Is

Change nothing. They just need to hear it enough to realise it gives the beat an unexpected personality. It's like a baby phoenix realising it's not some pidgeon like the other common fowl and its ransforming before everyone's eyes. Did you mean to be that deep or am I overadvertising?

Diggity

Im Digging the Side Chaining. I Think It Fits With The Timing Of The Bass And Drops The Sample At The Perfect Times.

Also, Sick Sample By The Way.

Mad Props On The Way You Blended The Womans Vocal Sample With The Piano Too.

Good Job Man,

Sorry

Kick. Seconded. Sidechaining ducks everything else out way too much. Good choice on the samples, though. Very good composition without that kick thudding everything into oblivion. I want to hear this if you get that problem solved.

Peace
