Deep in a forest of ancient China, this song was found chewing on a piece of bamboo.

Sweet

I really do like the drums on this track. They sound different, but original and cool. I'm not entirely sure what program you're using but I'm curious.

I dunno that could be categorized as drums 'n bass, but it was still a great track. Love what you did with panning and the jungle ambience at the begining.

I really enjoyed this track. Keep it up.

E-mail me for info on the program if you're still interested!

Thanks for the review. :)

better than chocolate syrup

gotta give you credits for drums on that one, i really liked how you quickly put 2 hits together to make a weird sound on the drum.

it may not have been really fast, but it sounded alright.

you shouldhave changed up the pad a lil or added another one halfway through tho cuz it got repetitive.

i don know what that effect with the explosion thing was but i like it ALOT really really adds character to the song.

most of the sounds you added were in-audible, but they could be heard somewhat, and overall i liked the song, its pretty cool.

JPhoenix84 responds:

Sad to say, my music isn't always as original as it could be. The pad is a sample, so I didn't really have any control over the tones throughout it. I could have changed the pitch of the entire sample, but I made this a long time ago, and didn't even plan to finish the song... so...

I guess I'll get right into it (I'm bored). I wanted to make something drum & bass sounding, that sort of rhythm... for my sister. She was really into drum & bass at the time. So, originally, this song was called "Lara", before I decided to make it a little cuter after envisioning pandas in an asiatic forest.

Thanks a bunch for the review! :D

Hand me the bamboo! I wanna go to China!!!!

Cracking ch-une. Just had it blasting out of my student house in sunny England. Put in on loop and kicked the football around with some mates.

10/10 from us lot here!

Just enough sound, not too cranky, not too whiney, not too tinney...just right.

Keep up the good work!

Maybe send this to Giles Peterson at Radio 1. His Worldwide DNB show loves this kinda stuff...

JPhoenix84 responds:

Awesome to hear that you enjoyed the song so much! That really means the world to me!!

About the radio program: it doesn't seem to me that there's any contact to send in independent music. No matter, I'm spreading my files all over the internet, so if anyone wants to listen or use them... they're sure to stumble across something they like eventually.

Thanks for the review!
