-Nice start, it's the tune we all remember but with a very good twist.
-The vocals sound unique and fresh
-The organ was a nice touch
-A good mix of orchestral and electronic styles
-The very nature of the track is repetitive, and seeing as the original track was made for a game, that's just fine. As a standalone song though, it gets annoying after a while.
Overall, pretty good song.
One of the most unique takes on this tune
I've heard so far. Love the drums, got just the right amount of punch. The organs (I think that's what they were) are a little harsh, and the background could be a little less cluttery, but the musical concept, I think, is sound. Clean it up a little and I'm pretty confident you'd have a masterpiece.
Thanks for the feedback, I've since improved my technique a bit and think I know what you mean now. X3
has a different feel to it...
Ahh, the time spent within Brinstar... I remember this area. Like the music you remixed it into, it took the fruity aspect out of it, but in doing so, you apparently threw in a more apocalyptic/final zone aspect to it. Nonetheless, it is a good remix, deserving of respect. 10/10.
Eh, it was more an attempt to make an arrangement that suited my libraries. Thanks for reviewing! X3
Great job on this one. The instument samples flew together nicely, your choir Aahs/pads worked well with the background and the drums really gave extra feeling. I think I may have to do this one sometime ^^.
Thanks man. X3
this is amazing. if they put this in a metroid prime game i would still be impressed. the instruments blended well together so it didnt just sound like a bunch of random sounds and yet it stays true to the metroid theme. good job!
Thanks man! X3
