i have another remix for y'all. this was made almost in entirety the night before last after i got off work. i'd been meaning to get this one out there, but i wanted to wait until i got my new toys. i didn't exactly get my new toys yet, but the style doesn't even warrant it now, and i'm pleased (enough, anyway) with the results thus far.

i decided to leave the title like it is so listeners could search it and, hopefully, stumble onto these pages. originally, it was going to be called "earth-breaker (panic puppet reprise)", but considering i have an earth-breaker track for the second act (and the fact that i won't put that back on newgrounds until i fix some things that have urked me since i finished it) there's no need to differentiate the two and this'll be fine on it's own. as usual, most of the tracks for the project are built on a loop and this equally follows suit. due to the brevity of the sequence, i tried to prevent myself from elaborating too much and dragging this out into five minutes, which is really easy to do...

whew. wordy.

i wasn't quite sure how to handle the main theme from Sonic 3D, whether to omit it or perhaps retool it by putting the main theme from the project, but as i played around, i think it worked out okay. it's the only rearrangement from the project that has the main theme in it, anyways. even "egg invincible", with the boss music spliced in, doesn't have a hint of it, so i guess i'm in the clear.

enjoy!

based on the works of Richard Jacques.

didn't realize how much i neglected the actual lead instrument from the tracks when i made this, haha. guess the bass tracks were easier to associate with them than the slightly on and off beat feedback-sine-slide from the originals.

Great Song

Why does this name think me about someone everyone hates???
I mean, of course, the TAILS DOLL!!!

Uhm <_<

Okay so I've played Sonic 3D Blast (that's the panic puppet we're talking about, right?) and I don't... really... see the resemblance to either stages of it. I mean it doesn't resemble act 1 or act 2, according to my memory (and habitual replaying on mah emulator :P).

But it is an epic song--I just don't see the resemblance o_o

... At all.

Sry.

darkmelee responds:

on the saturn, it used redbook cd audio, and this is a mix of those versions.

? I really hate the lamers...

Really good. Like epic/trance. A+
I really hate the lamers that just drop by, give it a number grade, and then ditch...

darkmelee responds:

most are opposed to reviewing, and many are simply stopping by to bump certain tracks lower to boost their own, anyways.

ah, well. it's not like i'm too concerned, anyways.
