A handsup techno remix of Tokio Hotel's "Monsoon."

This is something i'm rather proud of.

You see, generally when you remix a song here on Newgrounds, you're ultimately putting your preference of synths and arrangement into the remix, but rarely do you ever see a whole lot of diversion from the original work.

This is what I had planned to accomplish: to make a remix that emphasized the use of new material on something so outrageously different from the original work.

So a little bit about this:

The remix is heavily influenced by the style of Rob Mayth, as you can tell with the beatbreak in the beginning followed by a heavy entrance and fast-paced combination of melody and verse.

Technically, I think this my best mastering to date. The compression and limiting is flawless (TO MY KNOWLEDGE) and everything sounds great coming from my Bose speakers.

I tried especially hard to keep things fluid and moving, and to never 'stagger' and particular spots (of which techno and trance is notorious for doing in incredibly long mixes.)

The vox are a bit experimental in this case. If you notice, there is a 'glitchy' feel to some of the words. Yep, it's autotune. The original vox track was clean and precise, but I thought I might experiment with autotune. You like?
