i like it.
this is song is underlistened. its actually a fairly good instrumental track. the voice.... kinda sux. not that ur freind is a bad singer but the song simply doesn't call for guttural scream. and the solo feels artificial and out of place. in general this is isnt very heavy metal in fact its not really even hard rock. its more alternative than anything else. thats not necesarrily problem but if you wanna be more heave metalish you have to up the tempo, enhance the drumming (you really need some better double pedaling), more prominent lead and rhythym guitar. ultimately though you don't need to go that path. you can just cut the vocal and add some less heavy guitar and maybe keyboard.
